2025 Future Focused Job Fair

Thank you for your interest in participating in this year's Future Focused Job Fair being held on May 8, 2025 from 9:00a-2:00p at the Career Tech Center! This event focuses on seniors graduating high school that are staying in the area, looking for more permanent employment or summer work. This event will be IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL! Please review the below format and fill out the below form to confirm your participation in the job fair. 

On Wednesday, May 7th at noon, our tech center will be open for you to come in to our Pride Room to set up your Job Fair booth. You will be met by the Muskegon County Career Specialist Stephen Pettifor to help coordinate setting up your booth. The set up window will be from 12p - 5p Wednesday. Once all booths are set up, Stephen Pettifor will develop a virtual environment of the Pride Room (same format as last year). He will begin recording at 5:15 so all booths must be set up by 5p. You will then leave your booth up for the Live IN PERSON event the next day. ​

We will have 2 open sessions of students. The first session will be from 9a-11a. The second session will be from 12p-2:00p. LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED to all employers during the hour break in between the 2 sessions! ​

Using the recording from the set up on Wednesday May 7th, we will be creating a virtual Job Fair exactly the same as last year's fair. The purpose of this is to make sure that if there were students who were not able to attend the fair in-person on the 8th, they will still be able to reach out to you via the virtual fair experience.  If you have any materials/videos that you would like attached to your booth, please be sure to share those documents/links with Stephen Pettifor. If you participated in the past, we can use previous year's recordings to attach to your booth if you would like.
